Who can qualify to be a member?

Any individual or company requiring hotel accommodation at either Shangri-La or Traders hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi and is willing to book guestrooms, event venues or outside catering through www.i-BookersClub.com.

What are the pre-qualifications for group room bookings?
|
|
|
The individual or company should fulfill one or all of the requirements below:

A single or ad hoc group with a minimum of 50 room nights per group;

b) |
A company with potential for two or more group bookings annually where each booking has a minimum of 10 guestrooms arriving and departing at the same period.

|
|

What are the pre-qualifications for event bookings?
|
|
|
The individual or company should fulfill one or all of the requirements below:

A single event or ad hoc event with a minimum of 100 covers per event;

b) |
Two or more in-house event or catering bookings annually.

What are the benefits of membership?

Members will be issued exclusive access to a personal Booker Account at www.i-BookersClub.com using a Booker ID and password;

Members can earn and accumulate reward points which can be used to redeem a myriad of attractive reward items www.i-BookersClub.com;

c) |
Members can also enjoy additional benefits and promotions which are posted on www.i-BookersClub.com.

Are i-BookersClub benefits applicable to other hotels under Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts?

i-BookersClub.com is applicable only at either Shangri-La or Traders hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi.

Can an individual or company have more than one membership in the programme?
|
|
|
Each individual or company is allowed only one membership.
|

Will membership be at any cost to me?

How do I enrol in the i-BookersClub programme?

Will I be required to submit any documents to complete my application?
|
|

Applicants will be required to submit a copy of the Identification Card (for UAE residents) or Passport (for non-UAE residents).

What is the difference between an Individual Membership and a Corporate Membership?
|
|
|
The individual or company should fulfill one or all of the requirements below:

Individual Membership: One or several individuals from a company that make online group, event and/or individual guestroom reservations. Accumulated reward points are redeemed by the actual holder of the booker’s account.
|
b) |
Corporate Membership: One or several individuals from a company that make online group, event and/or individual guestroom reservations. Accumulated reward points are credited to the company and only one authorized individual is allowed to redeem reward items on behalf of the company.
|

Can my membership be transferred to another person?
|
|
|
Membership to i-BookersClub.com and all its attached benefits, including the right to earn points and redeem them, are non-transferable.
|

Does my membership expire?
|
|
|
A “dormant” status is given when a member does not have any transactions within 3 months from last check-out date.
|
|
|

|
What happens when membership status becomes “dormant”?
|
|
|
A member will be unable to enjoy all membership benefits and will not be able to access his/her online Booker Account.
|
|
|

What should I do if there is a change in my contact information or other personal details?
|

|

When do I receive my membership card?
|
|
|
Upon approval of the application, the membership card will be handed to you by your Account Manager.

What should I do if I lose, misplace or damage my membership card?
|
|

Report the loss to the Loyalty Centre and complete a Replacement Card Form. The form can be submitted in person, via fax or email.
The Replacement Card Form is available at the Loyalty Centre or downloadable from www.i-BookersClub.com

Is there a fee involved when applying for a replacement card?
|
|
|
A processing fee of RMB100 will be charged for card replacements. The fee will be waived for damaged cards that are surrendered to the Loyalty Centre.

Accumulation of reward points starts from the date the member’s booker account is approved.

Visit www.i-BookersClub.com and click “Book A Room” on the menu. You must indicate your i-BookersClub Booker ID in the OPTIONAL REQUESTS box before submitting your reservation.
When a guestroom is upgraded, are points awarded for the initial room type or the upgraded room type?
Points awarded are based on initial room category booked and not on upgraded room type.
Can I earn reward points if my booking/s were done through telephone, fax or email?
Guestroom bookings must be made online at www.i-BookersClub.com using your Booker ID otherwise points will not be awarded
When will reward points be credited into my membership account?
Reward points for individual room bookings are credited after guest has checked-out and settled accommodation charges in full. Points are updated daily, except on public holidays.

In case of a rebate, how will I earn reward points?

In the event of a rebate, reward points will be based on final figures after rebates have been deducted.

i-BookersClub Points are valid for one (1) year and can be redeemed within an 18-month period as defined below:

For members enrolled on/between 1 January and 30 June of any given year, Reward Points earned from 1 January until 31 December of the same year will expire after 30 June of the succeeding year.

b) |
For members enrolled on/between 1 July and 31 December of any given year, Reward Points earned from 1 July of the same year until 30 June the following year will expire after 31 December of that following year.

When can I start redeeming my reward points?

You can start redeeming reward item/s from the rewards gallery when you have accumulated sufficient reward points. A summary of your reward points can be viewed in the point summary section.

Individual Redemption
Click “Rewards Gallery” on the menu after logging in to www.i-BookersClub.com with your booker ID and password. Select the item/s you like and indicate the quantity you wish to redeem. Your request will be sent to us when you confirm your selections.

Corporate Redemption
Please contact your Account Manager to consolidate and process the group point summary and identify reward item/s for redemption.
|

I’ve already completed my redemption request, why is my point balance still the same?
|
|
|
Points redeemed will be deducted automatically from your account only after Hotel has reviewed and approved your request.
|
|

When can I receive the item/s I redeemed?
|
|
|
Upon receiving the system notification of your redemption, please allow thirty (30) working days to process your request. The Loyalty Centre will advise you on the collection date of the item/s.

Why do I have to present a copy of my Identification Card or Passport when claiming the redeemed item/s?
|
|
|
This is to ensure that the item/s is being issued to the actual member.
|
|
|

What should I do if the reward I have already redeemed has become unavailable?

Shangri-La and Traders hotels, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi will suggest a replacement item of similar value from the rewards gallery. You may choose to continue with the redemption of the suggested item or the redemption may be cancelled and reward points will not be deducted from your account.

The item/s I redeemed were unsatisfactory, lost, damaged, or expired, will the Hotel be able to replace or exchange the item/s?
|
|
|
Shangri-La and Traders hotels, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi will suggest a replacement item of similar value from the rewards gallery. You may choose to continue with the redemption of the suggested item or the redemption may be cancelled and reward points will not be deducted from your account.
|

|

I was unable to redeem my i-Bookers Reward Points before the expiry date, can I request for an extension of Points for a limited time?
